Laura Ward-Smith has over 17 years of experience in marketing and brand management. Laura began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Boots Retail International in 2004. From there, they joined ITV, where they served as a Brand Executive for ITV2 and later as a Brand Manager for ITV1 Entertainment & Comedy. In 2009, Laura joined Channel 4 as a Marketing Manager for Drama & Film and worked their way up to Acting Group Marketing Manager for Drama, Acquisitions, and Factual. Laura then became a Group Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing strategies for the channel. Currently, Laura holds the position of Head of Content Marketing at Channel 4, where they are responsible for strategic planning, agency management, campaign delivery, and brand management across the C4 Portfolio.

Laura Ward-Smith completed a Digital Marketing Strategy Masterclass from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, which ended in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Philosophy BA from the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2004.
