Marcia Williams has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Marcia has held various leadership and management roles in organizations across different sectors. Marcia'smost recent position was as the Executive Director, Inclusion at Channel 4, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director - Diversity, Inclusion and Talent at Transport for London from July 2021 to August 2022. Marcia also worked at Tideway London as the Head of Development and Inclusivity from April 2017 to March 2021. In addition, they have experience in providing interim management and consultancy services in the field of Organizational Development, Inclusive Leadership Coaching, and Consultancy. Marcia has a strong background in working on diversity and inclusion, evident from their roles as Head of Diversity at UK Film Council and HM Treasury. Marcia has also served as a Senior Policy Adviser on Equalities & Diversity at The Law Society. Overall, Marcia Williams has demonstrated expertise and leadership in championing inclusion and diversity throughout their career.

Marcia Williams obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the years 1989 to 1992. Marcia also completed the Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have certifications in Bystander Training from LinkedIn and Career Conversations from Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School, obtained in the years 2020 and 2019 respectively.
