Amy A. has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Amy started their career at Cooking Vinyl as a Digital Media Intern, where they were responsible for digitizing the video asset library and implementing a Content Management System. Amy then joined Portland TV as a Transmission Controller, where they monitored transmission playout, ingested and logged material, and ensured video and audio quality for broadcast. Amy also worked as an EPG Data Coordinator and Presentation Scheduler at Portland TV, where they developed coherent schedules for programming and continuity elements, created transmission schedules, and collaborated with various departments. Lastly, Amy worked at Channel 5 in various roles, including Broadcast Operations Assistant, Senior Broadcast Operations Coordinator, and Broadcast Operations Manager. In these roles, they managed broadcast operation workflows, material delivery, FTP delivery portals, and media preparation for VoD services.

Amy A. studied at Nottingham Trent University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Digital Media Design. Their field of study focused on post-production techniques. Additionally, they also completed a degree in Media and Cultural Studies at the same university from 2005 to 2007. During this time, they explored topics such as mass media theory, media institutions, and theorizing and researching culture.
