Deana Spencer

Deana Spencer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Deana currently works as the Assistant Director Learn-to-Skate at Chaparral Ice. Previously, they worked as a Skating Instructor for their own business and at Centene Community Ice Center. Deana also served as a Skating Instructor for Lil' Blues at St. Louis Blues, the Skating Academy Manager and Ice Skating Instructor at Poway Ice, and an Ice Skating Instructor at the Ray & Joan Kroc Center - Salvation Army. Additionally, Deana has experience as an Executive Assistant at MIR3 and Dentsply Friadent CeraMed, as well as the Executive Assistant to the President at Promise Keepers. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Officer at Desert Alliance for Community Empowerment. Deana'sroles have involved a range of responsibilities, including teaching skating lessons, managing programs, coordinating events, and providing administrative support.

Deana Spencer's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Deana obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree Summa Cum Laude in Psychology from Capella University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued Humanistic Studies and Psychology at San Diego University for Integrative Studies, earning a BA degree from 2003 to 2005. Deana also holds an AA degree in Telecommunications from Grossmont College, which they completed from 1991 to 1996. Deana obtained another AA degree in General Education from Cuyamaca College from 1989 to 1991. Deana's educational journey began with receiving their HS Diploma with a focus on College Prep from Helix High School from 1985 to 1989. Continuing their education in recent years, in 2018, they completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy program at Happy-U Yoga.
