Mechanical Engineer at Charm Industrial

Carter Green has a varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer at Charm Industrial. In 2020, they began working as a Propulsion Engineer at Virgin Orbit. In 2019, they were an intern with the Propulsion Engineering Stage Systems group at Virgin Orbit. Carter'smain project was a thermofluid analysis of the propellent and pressurant management system of Launcher One's second stage. In 2018, they were an intern with the Propulsion Engineering Components group at Virgin Orbit. Carter'smain projects included development and qualification testing of valves and regulators and designing test hardware. In 2017, they earned a grant from the engineering school at Princeton University to design and build two high power rockets and pursue certification from the National Association of Rocketry. Carter also worked as a Printed Circuit Board Designer in the Princeton Rocketry Club's CanSat team. In 2015, they worked as a Crew Lead at Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury. Carter was regularly in charge of five to seven volunteers with varying degrees of experience.

Carter Green attended Princeton University from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor's in Science in Engineering with a field of study in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
