Rafael Cruces currently serves as the International Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager at McDonald's, responsible for implementing a comprehensive DEI strategy that incorporates data-driven insights and a culturally-sensitive approach. Additionally, Rafael holds the position of Chair-Man at Charta der Vielfalt e.V. and previously served in various roles at McDonald's Deutschland LLC, including Senior Manager for Labor Relations, Social Affairs & DEI, and Senior Manager for Human Resources Regions. Rafael's career began in banking at Sparkasse Paderborn-Detmold after completing training as a bank clerk and includes expertise in human resources, recruitment, and onboarding gained from positions at FORVIA HELLA. Rafael holds a Diplom Betriebswirt in International Business Studies from Paderborn University and has completed an exchange semester focused on marketing and linguistics at Universitat de les Illes Balears.
