Joe Caprino

Joe Caprino has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering, financial engineering, data analysis, and research roles.

From 2022, Joe has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Chartboost, focusing on software development.

Prior to that, they worked at Interos Inc from 2019 to 2022, where they held two roles: Senior Software Engineer and Data Engineer. As a Senior Software Engineer, they contributed to various projects, and as a Data Engineer, they worked on data-related tasks.

Before Interos Inc, Joe was a Financial Engineer at Fannie Mae from 2018 to 2019, where they utilized their expertise in finance.

In 2017, Joe worked as a Software Developer at an energy trading startup, leading tech and mathematical projects and implementing algorithmic trading strategies.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an IT Data Analyst on a contract basis at Tax Management Associates.

Joe also has research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte from 2014 to 2016.

Joe has been self-employed as a Systems Technician at Caprino Tech Services since 2005.

Joe's earlier roles include being a Scientist at Cybersonics Inc. in 2012, a Math and Physics Tutor at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012, and an Undergraduate Researcher at Louisiana State University in 2011.

Joe Caprino completed their education with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Joe previously obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, attending from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Shaanxi Normal University, focusing on Chinese Language and Silk Road Study.
