Kirt Nilsson

Kirt Nilsson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Kirt is currently serving as the President of Charter School Capital, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the same company from February 2015 to April 2022.

Before joining Charter School Capital, Kirt Nilsson worked as an Executive Director at Apex Learning from November 2011 to February 2015. Kirt also served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Insight Schools from July 2008 to October 2011. Additionally, they held the role of Vice President of Marketing at Insight Schools, Inc. from October 2005 to July 2008.

Kirt Nilsson began their education in 1988, attending The George Washington University. Kirt studied Economics and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992. Later, from 1995 to 1997, Kirt pursued further education at Boston University. During this time, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Economics and also completed an MBA from the Questrom School of Business, specializing in Business.
