Stuart Ellis

Stuart Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Stuart co-founded Charter School Capital, Inc. in 2006 and served as the CEO, providing funding and resources to over 900 charter schools across the country. In 2014, they became the CEO of American Education Properties. Stuart also held various roles at Catlin Gabel School, including serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of both the Audit Committee and the Inclusivity and Diversity Committee. Stuart joined KairosPDX as a Board Member in 2013. Prior to these roles, Stuart worked as a Principal and Managing Director at Opera Solutions from 2003 to 2009 and as the President of the Venue Services Group at National Mobile Television from 2002 to 2003. Stuart founded and served as the CEO of Jax Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Stuart started their career as a Manager at Bain & Company from 1995 to 1999 and held various positions, including President of Upper Deck Authenticated and Vice President of Business Development at The Upper Deck Company from 1991 to 1994. Stuart began their professional journey as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from 1989 to 1991.

Stuart Ellis attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Economies of Industrial Societies.
