Roy Mantes

Roy Mantes is a Control System Engineer with extensive experience at Charter Steel since August 1995, specializing in the commissioning and startup of significant mill and melt shop projects, including a $130 million bar mill in 1995 and a $150 million melt shop in 2005, utilizing Morgan and Danieli equipment with ABB and Siemens controls. Prior to this, Roy worked as an Automation Technician at Commercial Metals Company from June 2009 to February 2011, focusing on the commissioning and startup of a melt shop and rolling mill. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Far Eastern University, completed between 1978 and 1984.
