Asaf David

Asaf David has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and system administration. Asaf started their career in 2013 as a System Administrator at ClickSoftware, where they gained knowledge and experience in the IT-System world. Asaf then moved on to Traffilog LTD in 2016, taking on the role of Senior System Administrator. Here, they acquired further skills in the combination of DevOps and system administration, taking care of office and production servers across multiple environments. In 2017, Asaf joined Tangelo Games Corp. as a DevOps Engineer, working independently to manage the local network and production environments, as well as overseeing IT and DevOps financial budgets. Asaf also managed servers in two different cloud providers. In 2018, Asaf joined AllCloud as a DevOps Engineer, where they developed and maintained CI/CD environments, managed microservices on Kubernetes, and created a high number of Jenkins pipelines. Asaf was later promoted to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer, where they led a major customer for the company and educated junior team members. In 2022, Asaf joined Checkmarx as a DevOps Team Lead.

Asaf David completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Information Systems Analysis from Ono Academic College, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including becoming a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in August 2021. Asaf also obtained certification as an AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020 and completed the Learn Go Course from Codecademy in October 2020. Other certifications include AWS - DevOps - Professional from AWS in June 2020, AWS - Solution Architect - Associate from AWS in February 2019, and DevOps Fundamentals from Cloud Academy, Inc. in June 2017.
