Elisabete Ferreira has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Elisabete started their career in 2007 as a Software Developer Trainee at EFACEC, where they later became a Software Developer. At FARO Portugal, Elisabete served as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer, leading R&D teams and developing applications for FARO Measuring Arms and Laser Tracker. Elisabete also managed a research team, analyzing and developing algorithms for 3D data acquired with FARO devices.
In 2017, Elisabete joined SmartMed B.V. as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to the research and development of a medication management web-based platform for hospitals and public pharmacies. Finally, in 2018, they joined Checkmarx as a Senior Software Developer and was later promoted to Software Team Lead. In this role, Elisabete was involved in research and development for the Checkmarx One Platform, led a new team responsible for adding and maintaining features, and acted as a Tier IV software engineer to solve customer reported issues.
Throughout their career, Elisabete has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and tools including C#, .Net, XML, JSON, LINQ, ANTLR4, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, WPF, Castle Windsor, and Team Foundation Server. Elisabete has experience working in distributed teams and has consistently displayed strong technical skills and leadership capabilities.
Elisabete Ferreira completed their high school education at Escola Secundária de Felgueiras from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Tecnológico de Administração and achieved a score of 17 out of 20. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Universidade do Minho from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a 5-year degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a score of 15 out of 20. In addition to their formal education, Elisabete Ferreira has also obtained several certifications, including "Building Multithreaded C# Applications with the Task Parallel Library" from Pluralsight in May 2021, "Architecting on AWS" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021, "Applying Asynchronous Programming in C#" from Pluralsight in March 2021, "How Machine Learning Works" from Pluralsight in March 2021, and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in March 2021.
