Thiago Vaz Dias

Thiago Vaz Dias has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Thiago is currently employed as a Software Architect at Checkmarx since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Flipdish as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2022 to May 2023, where they were involved in modernizing the company architecture using microservices and messaging. From April 2022 to June 2022, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Checkout.com. Thiago also worked at FARFETCH as a Principal Software Engineer from March 2021 to May 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to March 2021. At FARFETCH, they developed C# microservices for the pricing cluster, utilizing technologies such as Mongo DB, Cassandra DB, and Kafka.

Before joining FARFETCH, Thiago worked at BTG Pactual as a Software Engineer from October 2014 to September 2016, where they were involved in managing and developing projects that shared data across other teams. Prior to BTG Pactual, they worked at Banco Modal as a Software Engineer from March 2013 to October 2014 on the SMART Desk project, responsible for managing financial operations.

Thiago Vaz Dias completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution starting in 2009. It is not specified when they completed or if they are still pursuing their Master's degree.
