Lauren Nelson

Lauren Nelson has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as a Revenue Operations Program Manager at Checkr, Inc. Lauren joined the company in August 2022 and is currently serving in this role.

Prior to their position at Checkr, Lauren held various roles at Oracle. From March 2021 to August 2022, they worked as a Director, Revenue Insights & Planning, responsible for GTM planning, analytics, and insights for the NetSuite Global Business Unit. Lauren managed teams dedicated to customer acquisition, demand generation, and full-funnel GTM investment modeling.

Before that, from July 2019 to March 2021, Lauren served as a Manager, APAC International Strategy at Oracle. Lauren relocated to Australia to support the NetSuite GBU Japan-Asia Pacific groups and worked closely with the JAPAC SVP of Commercial Operations to localize the go-to-market strategy.

From March 2018 to July 2019, Lauren was a Chief of Staff, reporting to NetSuite's VP of Sales Planning & Analysis. Lauren partnered with various stakeholders to accelerate cross-functional work, managed forecast models for revenue and retention, and provided regular updates to the Oracle Office of the CEO and Executive Team.

Lauren initially joined Oracle as a Business Analyst in September 2016 and held this position until March 2018. Lauren was responsible for annual planning, sales productivity models, and sales analysis for NetSuite's customers.

Prior to Oracle, Lauren worked at NetSuite as an Account Manager from July 2015 to September 2016. In this role, they managed commercial relationships with nonprofit and B-Corporation customers, facilitating their participation in corporate social responsibility programs.

Lauren's career started at Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute, where they worked as a Program Associate from January 2014 to May 2014. Lauren supported business development programs, assisted with client outreach and impact tracking, and researched microfinance best practices.

Lastly, Lauren worked as an Admissions Associate at Colorado College from May 2013 to May 2014, interacting with prospective students and families, conducting evaluative interviews, and presenting information sessions.

Lauren Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Colorado College. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they obtained the "Insights for Innovation" certification from IDEO U and the "Designing Strategy" certification, also from IDEO U, in October 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the "RYT-200" certification from CorePower Yoga in June 2017.
