Kevin Bearden

Vice President, Humanitarian Services at Cherokee Federal

Kevin Bearden has a wealth of work experience in various executive and leadership roles. Kevin is currently serving as the Vice President of Humanitarian Services at Cherokee Federal since May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at The Providencia Group from February 2021 to May 2022.

Kevin has also held multiple senior-level positions at SOS International LLC, including Senior Vice President of the Federal Solutions Group from June 2019 to February 2021, Senior Vice President of the Software Solutions Group from December 2018 to June 2019, and Vice President & BD Executive - Federal Civilian from August 2018 to December 2018.

Before joining SOS International LLC, Kevin worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as the Vice President of Foreign Affairs and Transportation from September 2012 to August 2018. Kevin also served as a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton from September 2010 to September 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kevin held positions at SRA International as a Program Director from October 2008 to September 2010 and as a Business Development/ Capture Executive from May 2007 to October 2008. Kevin also worked at CSC, IT Infrastructure Solutions as a Service Delivery Executive from March 2007 to May 2007 and as the Managing Director of the EPA National Computing Center from September 2002 to March 2007.

Prior to that, Kevin served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at DynCorp Information Systems from November 2001 to September 2002 and as a Program Manager at GTE Government Systems from January 1997 to November 2001.

Kevin Bearden began their career as a Senior Consultant at James Martin & Co in May 1993, where they gained valuable experience before venturing into various leadership positions.

Kevin Bearden has a strong educational background in various fields. In 1981, they attended Springford Senior High, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.

Following their undergraduate studies, Kevin expanded their knowledge in Systems Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree. Then, in 2009, they attended Mercyhurst University, where they acquired a Graduate Certificate in Law Enforcement Intelligence & Counterintelligence.

Kevin Bearden's educational journey demonstrates their strong foundation in electrical engineering and their later focus on systems engineering and law enforcement intelligence.
