Amanda Karczewski

Amanda Karczewski is a UX Designer and Frontend Developer at CherryOnTech since September 2022, where collaboration with a cross-functional team focuses on empowering women and non-binary individuals in the tech space while developing websites for clients. Simultaneously, Amanda serves as a Substitute Teacher for Chicago Public Schools, emphasizing effective classroom management and data analysis to enhance student engagement and learning. A Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly in early 2022, Amanda completed a rigorous full-stack program that included project development and collaboration. Previously, as Front Desk Coordinator at Twisted Scissors Chicago, Amanda streamlined appointment operations and trained new employees. Amanda also has a background as a Social Justice Advocate at DePaul University, where extensive training in social justice and diversity enabled facilitation of impactful workshops. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from DePaul University and a Software Engineering credential from General Assembly.
