David Lavenson

David Lavenson has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Operations Support Manager at Chevron since August 2012. In this role, David leads a diverse team of 40 professionals to enhance upstream operations in California, overseeing various functions, including digital products and regulatory assurance. Previously, David held positions such as Operations Advisor for the San Joaquin Valley operations, Production Supervisor for the eastern Midland Basin, and Facilities Engineering Program Manager for the Permian development areas. David's academic background includes a PhD and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University. David's research experience spans various applications in chemical engineering, including oil migration in food products and non-Newtonian fluid dynamics.
