Emily Imperato

Emily Imperato is a geology professional currently serving as a Subsurface Intern with Chevron's New Energy team, focusing on carbon sequestration projects in California. Emily has extensive experience in environmental geology, having previously worked as a Staff Geologist at Geosyntec Consultants, where responsibilities included fieldwork, technical report preparation, and GIS support. Additional roles include a Geologic CO2 Storage Summer Student Engineer at EPRI, where a comprehensive database of global carbon storage projects was created, and a Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University. Emily holds a Master's degree in Geology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Hydrogeology from UC Santa Barbara.
