James Howitt

James Howitt has over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Offshore Installation Manager for the Leviathan Production Platform at Chevron, where responsibilities include the safe execution of production operations. Prior roles at Chevron encompassed Gas Plant Superintendent for the Bibiyana Gas Plant in Bangladesh and various offshore installation management positions focused on safety and process integrity on platforms such as the Frade and Captain FPSOs. James began their career at Texaco North Sea UK Co as a Petroleum/Operations Engineer, specializing in reservoir engineering and production support. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University.
