Ethan Bledsoe

Research Assistant at Chicago Botanic Garden

Ethan Bledsoe has several years of work experience in various roles related to climate and environmental issues. In 2018, they co-founded the West Lafayette Climate, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, where they organized climate strikes, worked on carbon neutrality legislation, co-authored a climate emergency declaration, published press releases, and formed the Tippecanoe Climate Alliance. From 2019 to 2021, Ethan worked as a Research Assistant at Purdue University's Department of Forestry & Natural Resources. In 2020, they founded Climate Kidz, and in 2020-2022, they served as the Executive Director of Confront the Climate Crisis. From 2022 to 2023, Ethan worked as a Student Aid at The Garage at Northwestern. Currently, they are working as a Research Assistant at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Ethan Bledsoe attended West Lafayette Jr/Sr High School from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are enrolled in Northwestern University since 2022 with no specified degree or field of study.
