Stephanie Casanova has a diverse work experience in journalism. Stephanie currently works as a Criminal Justice Reporter for the Ohio Local News Initiative since November 2022. Prior to that, they were a News Reporter for the Chicago Tribune Media Group starting from June 2021. From May 2019 to June 2021, they worked as a Reporter for the Arizona Daily Star. In 2018, they briefly worked as a News Reporter for Today's News-Herald.

Stephanie's earlier experiences include working as a Reporter for The Manhattan Mercury from November 2016 to October 2018, where they covered various government entities and wrote an average of five stories per week. Before that, they were a Copy Editor for the Rapid City Journal from November 2014 to November 2016.

Additionally, Stephanie has interned as a Social Media Intern at the Arizona Daily Star and served as an Assistant Managing Editor at the Arizona Sonora News Service, both in 2014. Their earliest work experience in journalism was with the Arizona Daily Wildcat, where they held various roles including News Editor and Online News Editor from January 2012 to May 2014.

Stephanie Casanova completed their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Philosophy from the University of Arizona in 2014. Prior to that, they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies and Philosophy at Boise State University from 2009 to 2011.
