Child Advocates is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency that offers programs and services for children and youth statewide through a race equity lens. We serve children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect, and we advocate for racial equity in the child welfare system and in our communities to help build a better future for all children. 

We fulfill our mission through four key programs: Interrupting Racism for Children, Mediation, Direct Representation, and through the child advocacy expertise of our attorneys.

The Legal and Advocacy Team at Child Advocates, Inc. is dedicated to providing direct representation and legal support to children who have experienced abuse and neglect. This team, comprising attorneys, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), and Guardians Ad Litem, works tirelessly to advocate for the best interests of these children in court, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected. They also focus on promoting racial equity within the child welfare system.
