Jaime Jones-McCoy MEd has a diverse range of work experience in the field of education. Jaime is currently working as a Campus Director at Child Care Associates, where they manage the daily operations of the facility. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at International Leadership of Texas as an 8th ELAR/Eng I Teacher/Grade Level Administrator. In this role, Jaime was responsible for helping students improve their reading skills through various strategies and resources, as well as collaborating with parents and other teachers.

Prior to that, Jaime was the Child Care Owner/Director at True Grace Family Learning Center from 2011 to 2017. In this position, they created curriculum and provided a safe and nurturing environment for staff and children. Additionally, they served as the Child Care Licensed Program Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas @ Grand Prairie from 2008 to 2010, where they trained, supervised, and directed the Afterschool and Day Camp programs.

Jaime's earlier experience includes being a Teacher II at Head Start of Greater Dallas @ Bachman from 2006 to 2008, a Computer Technology First thru Eighth Grade Teacher at Metro Charter Academy in 2005, a Fourth Grade Teacher at Golden Rule Charter from 2004 to 2005, a Fifth & Sixth Grade Social Studies, Science, Health Teacher at A+ Academy @ Rylie in 2004, and a Fourth Grade Teacher at A+ Academy @ Rylie from 2003 to 2004.

In addition, they served as an Elementary Computer Technology Teacher at A+ Academy @ Rylie from 2002 to 2003 and a Third Grade Teacher at Faith Family Academy from 2001 to 2002. Throughout their career, Jaime has demonstrated their commitment to providing a high-quality education to students while creating a positive learning environment.

Jaime Jones-McCoy MEd began their education in 1995 at Langston University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Development. Jaime successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1999. Following their bachelor's degree, Jaime went on to pursue a Masters of Education in Urban Education and Leadership at Langston University from 1999 to 2001. Alongside their educational achievements, Jaime has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they obtained a license as a Child Care Director from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. In 2011, Jaime obtained a certification for a Registered Child Care Home from the Environmental Services City of Grand Prairie. Most recently, in 2016, they obtained certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from the National CPR Foundation.
