Kara Myers

Kara Myers has extensive work experience in the field of education and child care. Kara began their career as an Adjunct Faculty at St. Philip's College in 2003 and worked in this role until 2015. In 2003, they also started working as an Educational consultant and Texas registered trainer as a self-employed professional until 2008. In 2016, Kara joined the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as a Senior Professional Learning Specialist and held this position until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Learning and Events at Child Care Aware of America.

Kara Myers earned a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland in 2000. Kara'sdegree focused on Education, Policy, Planning and Administration, as well as Applied Anthropology. Kara attended the university from 1998 to 2000.
