Alyssa Scott, MPP, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst at Child Trends since September 2022. Previously, Alyssa has held various positions including Research and Practice Associate and Research Associate at Search Institute, Writing and Communications Consultant as a freelancer, and roles at the Minnesota Department of Health and the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota. Alyssa also has experience as a Jane C. Freeman Rural Policy Fellow and a Monitoring & Evaluation Intern at AchieveMpls. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, English, and Spanish from Carthage College.
