Ying-Chun Lin

Ying-Chun Lin is a Research Scientist at Child Trends, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ying-Chun served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Social Science Research Institute at Duke University from August 2019 to October 2021, and as a Graduate Research Fellow at the Institute for Research on Poverty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2014 to August 2019. Ying-Chun also contributed as a Research Project Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison while pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Welfare from 2013 to 2019. Earlier experience includes working as a Case Manager at Grace Hill Settlement House from November 2009 to July 2013, and as a Licensed Social Worker at Cathay General Hospital from October 2002 to May 2007. Ying-Chun holds a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from National Taiwan University.
