Michelle F. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Michelle began their career as a Direct Care Counselor at Sarah A. Reed Children's Center in 1996. In 1999, they transitioned to working as a School Counselor at Intelli School Charter High School.

In 2000, Michelle joined Devereux as a Clinician & Admissions Coordinator, where they provided clinical services to youth in a residential treatment setting. Michelle also assessed referrals and facilitated the admission process.

In 2010, Michelle joined the American Academy of Pediatrics - Arizona Chapter as a Child Fatality Review Assistant Coordinator. Their responsibilities included leading team meetings, summarizing information related to child fatalities, and documenting prevention strategies in a national database.

Michelle's most recent role was at Childhelp®, where they started in 2011 as the Director of National Child Abuse Hotline. Michelle managed the hotline, implemented text and chat services, and initiated a large-scale research project. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Vice President of Prevention Programs, focusing on strategic initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and program quality.

Michelle F. earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College from 1993 to 1996. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Gannon University from 1997 to 1999.
