Stephanie Drag's work experience begins in 1999 as a Counselor at the Boys and Girls Club of Morris County. Stephanie later worked as a Youth Development Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Pequannock in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Stephanie worked as a Head Teacher at the Huntington Learning Center. Stephanie then transitioned to being an Elementary School Teacher at the Fredon township Board of Education from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, Stephanie served as a Substitute Teacher at the Pequannock township board of education. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Graduate Assistant for Project COPE at Montclair State University. Stephanie then became a Mental Health Therapist intern at Hackensack UMC Mountainside from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they were a Prevention Specialist at Barnabas Health. Stephanie's next role was as a Sales Associate at Realty Executives in 2009. Starting in 2015, Stephanie worked at Children's Aid and Family Services, first as a Prevention Specialist and then as a Program Supervisor. In 2017, they became the Director of School & Family Services. Stephanie'smost recent position at Children's Aid and Family Services is as the Associate Vice President of Prevention which began in 2023.
Stephanie Drag has a Master's degree in Counseling from Montclair State University, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Monmouth University from 2002 to 2006. Stephanie also holds various certifications, including being a Certified Prevention Specialist, a Youth Mental Health First Aid Certified Trainer, a National Certified Counselor, and a Nurtured Heart Approach Certified Advanced Trainer. Stephanie is also a Licensed Associate Counselor. Additionally, Stephanie has experience as an elementary school teacher and is a Realtor Salesperson certified by the NJ Department of Banking & Insurance - Real Estate Commission.
