Nakaiya Anderson M.ed.

NaKaiya Anderson M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the early learning and education field. NaKaiya Anderson began their career at Hesters Creative School as a Lead Preschool Teacher from April 2014 to March 2016. In this role, they adapted teaching methods to meet student needs, established clear objectives, and maintained proactive communication with parents.

Following this, NaKaiya worked as a Preschool Teacher at Reedy Fork Early Learning Academy from March 2016 to April 2017.

NaKaiya Anderson then joined Children's Lighthouse Early Learning School, where they held multiple positions. From May 2017 to May 2018, they worked as an Assistant Director, successfully managing the school's budget and increasing enrollment.

NaKaiya was then promoted to Director of Education from May 2018 to November 2020, where they provided guidance to teachers, coached on teaching strategies, and formed professional partnerships for extracurricular enrichments.

Currently, NaKaiya serves as the Director of Operations at Children's Lighthouse, a role they assumed in November 2020. In this position, they recruit, trains, and evaluates staff, implements operational strategies, and analyzes center performance. Their focus is on driving success in enrollment, retention, productivity, quality, and customer service.

NaKaiya Anderson M.Ed. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Education and Family Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, which they completed between 2010 and 2014. Subsequently, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Early Childhood Leadership and Program Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they completed between 2016 and 2018.
