Graham Torres has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Graham started their career as an Administrative Intern at Children's Hospital of Alabama in 2010, where they were responsible for maintaining information related to research studies and designing the Pediatric Research section of the hospital's website.
In 2011, Torres worked as an Administrative Intern at Birmingham VA Medical Center. During this time, they focused on process improvement and utilized various tools to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Torres then joined Children's Health in 2012 and held several positions over the years. Graham served as an Operations Analyst from 2013 to 2015, analyzing financial and productivity data to identify opportunities for improvement. Graham then became the Business Services Manager, where they provided financial analysis and budgeting support for outpatient and acute care therapy locations.
From 2016 to 2017, Torres worked as the Director of Business Operations for Regional Specialty Care at Children's Health. In this role, they provided operational and financial analysis, supported strategic initiatives, and led projects such as relocating a specialty hospital and updating the charge master.
In 2017, Torres became the Director of Ambulatory Operations, overseeing a specialty center location with multispecialty physician clinics and therapy services. Graham managed a high volume of annual visits and ensured continuity of care.
Most recently, Torres held the position of Senior Operational Planning Director at Children's Health from 2020 to 2022. Graham played a key role in strategic decision-making and operational planning for the organization.
Currently, Torres serves as the Vice President of Facilities Operations at Children's Health, a position they assumed in April 2022.
Graham Torres has a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University, from 2005 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from TMAC, although the specific month of completion is unknown.
