Colleen Meurer is an experienced human resources professional with a focus on total rewards and employee wellbeing. Colleen currently serves as the Vice President Total Rewards at Children's Mercy Kansas City, where they oversee the development and implementation of total rewards programs. Prior to this role, they held the same position at GEHA Health, where they designed and implemented a comprehensive total rewards strategy. Colleen has also had a long tenure at Hallmark Cards, where they held various HR leadership positions, including HR Director for Benefits and Executive Programs, HR Director for Compensation, and Human Resources Organization Manager. Throughout their career, Colleen has demonstrated expertise in compensation design and administration, performance management, organization design, and strategic HR support.
Colleen Meurer holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Resources Management from Rockhurst University. Colleen also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. In addition, they hold certifications as a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in June 2015, and as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork, obtained in March 1996.
