Melanie Foltz has had a long and illustrious career in the healthcare industry. Melanie began their journey as a Charge Nurse in Labor and Delivery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1999, where they provided exceptional care and support to expectant mothers. After six years in this role, Melanie transitioned to become the Postpartum and Full-Term Nursery Manager, where they continued to excel in their responsibilities until 2007.
In 2007, Melanie joined HCA as the Director of Labor & Delivery. Melanie led a team of dedicated professionals and ensured the smooth operation of the department until 2009.
Melanie's expertise then led their to Children's Mercy Hospital, where they took on the role of Director of the Fetal Health Center in 2009. In this position, they have been instrumental in providing specialized care and guidance to ensure the well-being of both mothers and their unborn children.

Melanie Foltz holds a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Nursing from The University of Kansas, graduating in 1999 after a two-year program from 1997 to 1999.
