Commercial & Customer Strategy Director at Chiltern Railways

Andrew Camp has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 at the Office of Government Commerce as a Major Projects Authority Reviewer, providing commercial support for major ICT and Estate projects across central government. Andrew then served as a Commercial Director at Abellio Greater Anglia from 2012 to 2018, responsible for sales, marketing, procurement, media relations, and corporate affairs. Andrew also held positions as a Director at Train Information Services Ltd and National Reservations Ltd from 2015 to 2018. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Commercial Director at Greater Anglia and from 2017 to 2020 as a Commercial Director at West Midlands Trains. Andrew briefly served as an Interim CEO at Principal Medical Ltd in 2022. Currently, Andrew is working at Chiltern Railways as a Commercial & Customer Strategy Director, participating in a job share arrangement with another individual. Before that, they were an Associate Consultant at VA Rail starting in 2021. From 2009 to 2009, Andrew was the Managing Director at Principal Medical Ltd, overseeing primary care community health contracts in Oxfordshire and operating the first GP run NHS walk-in center in the region. Andrew also served as a non-executive director and Vice Chairman at the same company.

Andrew Camp completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Geography from Lancaster University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Andrew later pursued their studies at Bristol Business School, University of the West of England, from 1990 to 1992, and achieved a Distinction in their DMS (Diploma in Management Studies) degree with a focus on Business and Administration.
