Kevin M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kevin began their career as a Satellite R&D Engineering Intern at NASA, where they integrated accelerometer systems into satellites to study the thermospheric neutral density. Kevin then worked as a Nuclear Engineering Intern at The University of Texas at Austin.

After that, Kevin transitioned into the field of soft condensed matter research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed applications and conducted studies on interfacial tension and electrohydrodynamics. Kevin also worked as an R&D Engineering Intern at Procter & Gamble, where they developed applications and optimized automated splicing of non-woven materials.

Kevin then moved into the cybersecurity field, serving as a Cybersecurity Analyst at Cisco. Kevin performed market and technical analyses for various cybersecurity technologies and collaborated with industry innovators. Following this, they worked as an E-Commerce and Payments Software Engineer at Aaron's, Inc., developing core payments web applications and financial systems.

Kevin later joined Proliant as a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, focusing on developing payroll and financial human resource software and maintaining API integrations with business partners. Kevin then joined BitPay as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed new payment channels for major cryptocurrencies and supported backend changes for Bitcoin Core updates.

Currently, Kevin serves as the Head of Engineering, Investments Products at Chipper Cash, where they manage and drives multiple engineering teams across product verticals such as stocks and traditional investments, crypto/blockchain payments, and marketplace/bill payment services. Kevin has actively managed and led teams, contributed significantly to fundraising efforts, and played a crucial role in driving revenue growth.

Kevin M. has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Kevin also has a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering, with a minor in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering, from the same institution. In addition to their education, Kevin has obtained certifications in Javascript, Problem Solving, Python, Rest APIs, and Java from HackerRank. Kevin also achieved a Silver Medal in the Palladium 2020 Challenge from Codility in February 2020.
