Daryl Jeffery

Daryl Jeffery has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Daryl worked at Chorus NZ Limited, starting in 2009 as the National Manager Maintenance, responsible for managing maintenance and connection programs. Daryl then held the role of Head of Network Operations from 2011 to 2013, where they oversaw the operational strategies and directions for the network. Daryl subsequently served as Acting GM Infrastructure Operations, providing leadership for maintenance and provisioning programs. From 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Head of Access Operations, accountable for the asset management and performance of Chorus' access network. Lastly, they worked as an Investment Manager, responsible for the long-term asset management and investment of Chorus' access network. Prior to their time at Chorus NZ Limited, Daryl had a long career at Telecom New Zealand, where they held various roles from 1985 to 2008, including Manager Operations Delivery.

Daryl Jeffery attended Whakatane High School from 1979 to 1983. Daryl did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study during this time. Additionally, they pursued postgraduate education at The University of Auckland, where they completed a degree in Business Administration and Management.
