Kughan Lingam

Kughan Lingam has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Kughan began their career as a Graduate at EDS, where they gained experience in application development and support. Kughan then joined HP Enterprise Services, where they worked as a Project Manager, delivering various projects in Telecom New Zealand, including mobile, data separation, billing, provisioning, and wholesale projects.

In 2011, Kughan joined Spark New Zealand, where they held multiple roles. As a Project Manager, they successfully managed the Mobile HLR Replacement project for Telecom NZ, which involved multiple vendors and cross-functional team management. Kughan later served as a Project Director for key strategic mobile programs, overseeing program delivery for mobile tower program, network transformation, product enhancement, and simplification/re-engineering of the mobile core.

In 2017, Kughan joined Chorus NZ Limited as a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis. Kughan successfully managed the establishment of a new SAP Billing system, including the migration of existing customers. This project involved a multi-supplier environment and technical exit of shared systems with Spark.

Alongside their professional roles, Kughan also established their own consulting company, 1UP Consulting, in 2017. Kughan has been serving as the Director, providing consultancy services in project management and implementation and integration management.
