Ramesh K has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and automation. Ramesh started their career in 2004 as a Tech Lead at Tech Mahindra, where they were responsible for understanding and analyzing testing requirements, creating and reviewing test scenarios and cases, executing tests, and managing test progress. Ramesh also developed test automation artifacts using QTP/UFT.
In 2010, Ramesh joined BMC Software as a Senior SQA Engineer, where they provided support for production issues, guided the team, and designed an automation testing framework using Selenium WebDriver. Ramesh also maintained automated regression test cases and coordinated with other teams for test data.
From 2012 to 2016, Ramesh worked as a Tech Lead (Specialism) at the Royal Bank of Scotland. In this role, they provided guidance to product engineering teams, reviewed test plans, coordinated test environments, performed regression and integration testing, and documented test results and product faults. Ramesh also reviewed testing processes and identified areas for improvement.
In 2016, Ramesh returned to Chorus NZ Limited as a Test Automation Engineer, where they were involved in maintaining and building a network infrastructure. In this role, they utilized their automation testing skills to ensure high-quality software delivery.
In 2018, Ramesh joined the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand as a Senior Test Analyst. Ramesh performed regression testing, created and supported automated test scripts, and worked closely with designers, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software.
Most recently, in 2019, Ramesh resumed their position as a Test Automation Engineer at Chorus NZ Limited, where they continue to contribute their expertise in automated testing.
Overall, Ramesh K has demonstrated a strong background in software testing, automation, and process improvement throughout their career.
Ramesh K pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Ramesh attended the university from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, Ramesh obtained certifications in "AWS Concepts" and "DevOps Essentials" from Linux Academy in March 2019.
