Anna Strong

Anna Strong has a diverse work experience across various industries. Anna has worked as the Head of Events & Employee Engagement at Christians Against Poverty NZ since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital Engagement Lead at the same organization. Anna also co-founded Hem Creative in 2018, where they focused on branding, design, marketing, and communications for small and local businesses. Anna previously worked at Venn Foundation NZ as a Venn Residential Fellowship member from 2020 to 2021. Anna also has experience in coordinating the intermediate ministry program at Gateway Church from 2016 to 2020. Anna worked as a Digital Strategist at Bettle and Associates in 2017, where they provided social media content and digital marketing strategies to clients. Anna interned at Wintec as a Marketing Intern in 2016, where they created content for communication briefs and managed social media platforms. Anna also worked as an After School Care Assistant at Wind In The Willows Childcare from 2012 to 2016. Anna worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager at Blacklisted Magazine in 2015, where they handled communication with potential stockists and advertisers. Prior to that, they worked as a Retail Sales Assistant at Farmers Trading Company Ltd from 2013 to 2016.

Anna Strong attended Melville High School from 2007 to 2011. Anna then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, and Advertising at Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016.
