Kayla Cohen has a diverse range of work experience. Kayla started their career as a Furniture Builder and Sales Associate at Nightwood in 2010 and worked there until 2013. In 2013, they briefly worked at MKG - The Experiential Marketing Agency as part of the NBCUniversal Digital Upfront team. From 2014 to 2015, Kayla worked at Ralph Appelbaum Associates, first as a Production Designer for the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center and then as a 3D Designer for the Royal Alberta Museum. Beginning in 2015, they joined Christie's and held multiple roles, including Exhibition Designer, Senior Exhibition Designer, Associate Vice President, Exhibition Advisor, and currently, Vice President, Exhibition Design Director.
From 2001 to 2006, Kayla Cohen attended Purchase College, SUNY, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in New Media. Kayla then pursued a Master of Science degree in Interior and Exhibition Design from Pratt Institute, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, they attended the Danish International School to study Furniture Design. In 2012, they briefly studied Textile and Pattern Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
