Chih-Wei Ko

Chih-Wei Ko is a Senior Scientist in Pharmacology at Chroma Medicine, leading a pharmacology team focused on preclinical research for novel therapies targeting liver metabolic diseases since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Scientist and Pharmacology Head of Gene Editing/Gene Therapy at LogicBio Therapeutics, where strategic and technical oversight was provided for pharmacology studies from March 2019 to November 2022. Previously, Chih-Wei held positions including Senior Scientist and Scientist at LogicBio Therapeutics, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, exploring glucose metabolism in rodents. Education includes a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemical Science and Technology from National Taiwan University. Additionally, Chih-Wei served as a Second Lieutenant and Chief Counselor in the Ministry of National Defense, mentoring soldiers and sergeants.
