Brian Walby has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brian began their career at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), where they worked as a Vehicle Engineer and later as a Product Engineer.

In 2006, Brian joined J.D. Power and Associates as a Senior Statistician in the Automotive Analysis and Consulting department. Brian quickly progressed to the role of Senior Manager and eventually became the Director of Automotive Analysis & Consulting for the Power Information Network (PIN). In this role, they utilized real-time transaction data and predictive econometric models to improve clients' pricing strategy and initiated a portfolio pricing solution for a global manufacturer.

In 2010, Brian worked as a Summer Consultant at Deloitte, gaining valuable experience in consulting. Brian later joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and ultimately became a Manager in the MonitorDeloitte Strategy division.

In 2013, Brian transitioned to Neustar, Inc. as a Director of Consulting Services. Brian rose through the ranks, holding positions such as Senior Director, Group Director, and Vice President of Consulting Services. During their time at Neustar, they managed operational efficiency, delivered to balanced scorecards, and served as a client-facing delivery lead for Fortune 500 clients across various industries.

In 2022, Brian returned to J.D. Power as the Vice President of Data Science & Innovation, overseeing the data science and innovation initiatives within the company.

Brian Walby completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 2004. Later on, Brian attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and obtained an MBA degree. During their time at Kellogg, they focused on various subjects including Management & Strategy, Marketing, Managerial Economics, and Analytical Consulting.
