Insights Manager at J.D. Power

Pengkai Xia has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Consultant Consumer Insights at 113 Industries, where they utilized NLP software to analyze conversation data and provided actionable insights to Fortune 500 clients. Pengkai also led a project for Ocean Spray in the Chinese E-Commerce market during this time.

In 2017, Pengkai Xia interned as a Marketing and Partnership Intern at NASCAR.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst - Business Intelligence at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, they developed and maintained the ETL pipeline and data visualizations for the Business Insights department. Pengkai also collaborated with IT and business stakeholders to build data-driven solutions and automate price erosion calculation for the Pricing department.

From 2019 to 2021, Pengkai Xia worked as a Market Research Analyst at Exelon. During this time, they transformed the department's analytics process by developing Customer Satisfaction Dashboards and a customer insights analysis model for BGE. Pengkai also performed quantitative and qualitative analysis on key metrics, recommended insights to improve outage communication and community reach, and conducted research to evaluate customers' perception of BGE's mobile application.

Currently, Pengkai Xia works as an Insights Manager at J.D. Power, starting in 2021.

Pengkai Xia completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from The Ohio State University, from the year 2010 to 2015. Pengkai then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering & Technology Innovation Management (E&TIM) from Carnegie Mellon University in the year 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Pengkai Xia obtained the Tableau Desktop Specialist certification from Tableau Software in March 2021. Pengkai also obtained certifications in Marketing Analytics from Coursera in March 2019 and Managing Big Data with MySQL from Coursera in March 2018.
