Charles Hayes

Charles Hayes is a seasoned professional in environmental health and safety, currently serving as a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at CHS since January 2017. In addition to this role, Charles has been a Chief Mass Communication Specialist in the US Navy Reserve since 2011 and previously worked as an Operator at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline from September 2015 to December 2016. Charles’s military background includes service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from March 2003 to March 2011, with a focus on public affairs and broadcast journalism. Charles holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University, completed in June 2022, as well as a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution in 2016, and an Associate's degree in Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution from Barton Community College in 2015.
