Job Description:

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with management in supporting designated geographic regions. The role will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Selection:
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates for CI² Aviation and Airport authorities.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Maintain and update job descriptions and job postings as needed.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues.
  3. Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including open and new hire enrollment, changes, and terminations.
    • Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve issues and answer questions.
    • Conduct benefits orientations for new employees and assist with open enrollment processes.
  4. Compliance and Policy Development:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. (i.e. EE0-1, OSHA, etc)
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices and recommend updates to HR policies and procedures as needed.
    • Knowledge of workman's comp laws by state

     5. Drug and Alcohol Program

  • Administering drug and alcohol program (random, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident)
  • MIS annual reporting
  • Drug and Alcohol audits

Qualifications: (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience with HRIS systems.

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Experience with managing multi-HR responsibilities.

  • A minimum of 4 years of aggressive HR generalist experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • SHRM or Master’s Degree

  • Some experience dealing with government contracts or FAA

Salary range based on experience (60k-70k)
