Manuel Garrido Romero

Manuel Garrido Romero is a Researcher at CIAL (CSIC-UAM) since April 2022. Previously, worked as a Research Assistant at APC Microbiome Ireland, focusing on the effects of the Mediterranean diet on human gut microbiota. Additionally, conducted research on acetic acid bacteria in artisan sourdough at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. Authored a scientific article on the use of cellulose for sustainable food packaging. Involved in studies on sodium intake and hypertension, tissue regeneration, and development of functional foods. Holds degrees in Biotechnology and Environmental, Industrial, and Food Biotechnology. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Teacher Training.
