Job description:
At CIAL Dun&Bradstreet, we are looking for a software engineer in our Infrastructure department to help us turn our platform into easy-to-use, yet powerful, foundation for our products.

Software engineer responsibilities include, in close collaboration with data and products departments, developing core infrastructure back ends - including highly available APIs, custom databases, workflow job workers and systems. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with building APIs, scraping, ETL/ELT workflows, and data engineering with Python (including Machine Learning) and Javascript (Node). You will create both functional and appealing features that address our clients' needs, help us optimize internal workflows, and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Development of highly available systems (APIs)

• Development of custom database solutions

• Development of workflows to ingest, transform and use data

• Optimization of workflow resource usage

• Meeting both technical and client needs

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a software engineer

• Proficiency in Python (and Jupyter Notebooks), and Javascript

• Familiarity with lower-level languages: C, Rust

• Proficiency with ETL/ELT workflows

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Good documentation writing skills

• Good time-management skills

• Good problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail

• Language requirements: English fluency is mandatory, Spanish and Portuguese a plus
