Lloyd Sebastian

Lloyd Sebastian has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Lloyd began their career at Barclays Bank in 1986, where they focused on treasury, cash management, and financial administration. Lloyd then moved to Barclays Bank PLC as the Country Manager of Barclays Global Securities Services in Canada. In 1995, they joined RBC Global Securities Services as a Manager of Client Service, specializing in clearance and domestic markets.

Sebastian continued their career at CIBC Mellon in 1997, where they served as Vice President and Executive Director of Business Development and Relationship Management for financial institutions. Lloyd played a key role in managing the strategic direction of various business segments and maintaining client satisfaction, retention, profitability, and revenue enhancement.

In 2007, Sebastian returned to RBC Investor & Treasury Services, initially serving as the Director of Strategic Client Relationship Management for financial institutions. Lloyd later took on roles as the Director and Segment Head of Financial Institutions, overseeing relationship and client management. Lloyd also directed the regional Agent Bank sub-custodian network management discipline for the Americas, ensuring quality service and asset protection for institutional clients.

In 2014, Sebastian joined Northern Trust Canada as the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, where they further demonstrated their expertise in risk management.

Most recently, in 2018, Sebastian returned to CIBC Mellon as the Vice President of Client Strategy and Experience. Lloyd then transitioned to the role of Vice President and Segment Head of Global Financial Institutions in 2020.

Throughout their career, Sebastian has been recognized for their ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service. Lloyd'sexperience spans various aspects of the financial industry, including risk management, business development, relationship management, and client strategy.

Lloyd Sebastian's education history includes completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute and obtaining an Associate Institute of Canadian Bankers (AICB) degree from the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Additionally, they received a Diploma in Business Management from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). Lloyd also attended St. Peter's College, although the degree or field of study is not specified.
