Geoffrey Beek

Geoffrey Beek has been working in the medical field since 2012. Geoffrey started as a Genetic Counseling Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. In 2013, they moved to the Mayo Clinic Rochester as a Genetics Counselor. In 2016, they began working at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota as a Genetic Counselor. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Ciitizen as the Head of Clinical Operations, Neurology and Lead Reviewer, Neurology.

Geoffrey Beek obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Luther College in 2006. Geoffrey then attended the University of Minnesota for Graduate Studies in Genetics from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they began a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they completed in 2013. In 2015, they were certified as a Genetics Counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
