John Joseph

Vice President, Marketing at CIMCON Lighting

John Joseph is the Vice President of Marketing at CIMCON Lighting. John has been with the company since September 2018 and has been instrumental in growing the company's sales and establishing it as a thought leader in the smart city edge platforms category. Prior to joining CIMCON, John was with another lighting company where they increased sales by 50% and MQLs by 300% YoY through digital marketing initiatives.

At CIMCON, John has built an effective business development/inside sales team and marketing automation processes that have generated $18 M/quarter in pipeline for new business. John has also created a PR/customer reference program that has secured major industry innovation awards, including a Gold Edison Award, and has led to the company's inclusion in key "leader board" reports from Navigant, Northeast Group, Ovum and others.

Most recently, John launched the company's next generation IoT platform and solutions, which generated significant media attention for both the platform and CIMCON. John is currently scaling the marketing team from 1 to 6 full-time members.

John Joseph has a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS in electrical engineering and optics from University of Southern California, and a BS in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. John also has a certification in Pragmatic Marketing - Foundations, Market and Launch from Pragmatic Marketing.

John Joseph reports to Anil Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Punit Jain - Director Business Development, Willy Fiallo - Sales Director, Latin America & the Caribbean, and Bob Flaherty - Vice President, Customer Success & Managed Services.
