Anil Agrawal

Anil Agrawal is the current Chief Executive Officer at CIMCON Lighting and the founder of the company. Anil has been with the company since its inception in 2012 and has played a key role in its development into an industry recognized leader in smart lighting and smart city technologies. Under their leadership, CIMCON Lighting has raised over $40 million from VC and PE investors, been ranked 6th Hottest Enterprise Startup of 2017, and named as a 2020 Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company. The company has also won several awards, including the Edison Institute “Gold Award”, LFI Innovation Award, and Frost & Sullivan’s “New Product Innovation Award” for smart streetlighting. In August 2021, CIMCON Lighting was sold to Quantela.

Anil Agrawal received their M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
